GoVelo · Prepared for Twilio A2P 10DLC / compliance review
GoVelo Innovation, LLC (“GoVelo,” “we,” “us”) operates a transportation and logistics platform serving the Florida Gulf Coast and expanding nationwide. As part of the service, GoVelo sends automated SMS messages to riders and drivers to coordinate safe pickups, share trip details, confirm reservations, and deliver time-sensitive account and payment notifications.
This document describes the SMS program for Twilio’s A2P 10DLC compliance review: opt-in methods, message types, frequency, keywords, privacy, and support contact information.
Messages are sent over standard 10DLC long codes via Twilio. All messages fall under the following use cases:
Ride Coordination (Conversational)
Direct communication between an assigned driver and a rider to arrange a safe, timely pickup (e.g., "I have arrived," "Running 5 minutes late").
Trip & Reservation Confirmation
Automated confirmation of a booked ride or scheduled reservation, including trip time and pickup address.
Account & Payment Activity
Notifications about payment processing, payout activity, and security-relevant account changes.
Promotional Offers (Optional)
Optional marketing messages about promotions and special offers — only to users who explicitly opt in.
Users may opt into SMS through any of the following methods. Consent is captured before any message is sent and is not a condition of any purchase.
Operational messages (ride coordination, confirmations, account/payment activity): sent as needed, typically up to 4 messages per month per active user.
Promotional messages (optional): up to 4 messages per month to users who have opted in to marketing.
Users may stop receiving messages at any time. The following keywords are honored on every GoVelo long code:

Unsubscribe from all SMS. Confirmation sent. No further messages.
STOPALL
Unsubscribe from all SMS programs on this number.
UNSUBSCRIBE
Unsubscribe from promotional messages.
CANCEL

On receiving STOP, GoVelo immediately ceases sending and replies with a confirmation. Re-subscription requires the user to text START or re-opt in via the app.
When a user texts HELP, GoVelo replies with:
“GoVelo SMS Support. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Call 1-800-960-5440 or email support@getgovelo.com for help.”
Mobile numbers are used solely to deliver SMS described above and to facilitate ride coordination between users and assigned drivers. Numbers are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Full details are in the GoVelo Privacy Policy at getgovelo.com/privacy.
